Vegan Movement Goes Into Mainstream, Uniting Nations, Races And Backgrounds Into A Family

After 74 years since Donald Watson coined the term vegan in 1944 when he co-founded the Vegan Society in England, vegan leaders from various countries and backgrounds, gathered in Taiwan and ultimately all agreed to unite all Vegan movements within a single organization, later named WVO.
The WVO Nepal is the Nepal’s leading independent vegan organization. As the Nepal chapter of the WorldVegan Organisation, WVO Nepal was founded by local vegan activists with the focus and mission is to bring health, peace, and sustainability in Nepal through the daily practice of plant-based diets anda vegan lifestyle. To achieve our mission, the WVO Nepal strives to help lead individuals and communities to a sustainable lifestyle for our planet and future generations; thriving for vegan education in improving people’s health and nutrition, raising awareness of food safety, reversing climate change, cultivating harmony in society and promoting sustainability for the planet by advocating a vegan lifestyle.
